Top 7 Tips For Glowing Skin From Beauty Expert Shahnaz Hussain Herself!

1. For face

honey almond oats

Many women deal with dull skin because of various reasons including pollution, dryness, weather, etc. To make dull skin appear fresh and dewy, Shahnaz Hussain recommends using a homemade hydrating face mask regularly with ingredients such as milk, almond powder, oatmeal, honey, almond oil, etc.

If you have an oily skin, you can use a mixture of milk, oatmeal, honey, and gram flour in equal quantities to apply all over your face for a fresh glow. But if you have dry skin, you need a deeply moisturizing agent such as almond oil instead of milk in the mask to make your dull skin appear bright.

2. For spots and the blemishes

lemon cucumber

Spots and blemishes can be a cause of concern for many people and make the skin appear patchy. If you are suffering from acne, the active breakouts can become itchy and leave behind ugly spots and marks. These spots, marks, and other blemishes on the skin can make the skin look dull and tired. In such cases, Shahnaz Hussain suggests the use of natural ingredients like lemon, potato, cucumber, milk, etc. for lightening the dark spots

3. For oily skin

If you have an oily skin, mix lemon juice and milk in a ratio of 1:2 and apply it all over the skin using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.

4. For dry skin

almond and lemon

People who have dry skin can replace milk with almond oil to add moisture to the skin while the lemon juice lightens the spots. This will brighten up the whole complexion and milk will add a hint of natural glow to the skin.

5. For those incorrigible blackheads

yogurt facepack

Blackheads are tiny little bumps on the skin that appear when the hair follicles get clogged. They usually appear on the oily parts of the face where the hair follicle gets clogged because of the excess oil produced by the skin. This oil then also attracts dirt and grime from the environment and appears dark or black.

To get rid of blackheads naturally, mix rice flour and sour yogurt in equal quantities and apply it on the affected area. Keep it until it dries off completely and then wash it off by slowly massaging in a circular motion. This scrub removes blackheads effectively without irritating the skin. Rice brightens up the complexion and yogurt imparts a beautiful glow.

6. For tanned skin

Tanning is a problem that people of all ages deal with because of frequent exposure to the sun without protection. While using sunscreen with a high SPF is essential, since it protects the skin from the UVB rays of the sun that cause tanning, it is also important to use tan removal masks to maintain an even skin tone.

Mix one egg white, one tablespoon of lemon juice, and one tablespoon of honey. Apply a thick layer of this mixture to the tanned area and wash it off after 15 minutes. If you have a sensitive skin, you can replace lemon juice with potato or tomato juice since they are gentle to the skin and yet remove tanning as effectively as lemon juice. Even skin tone looks great and egg whites add a glow to the skin.

7. For skin hydration!

cucumber and rose water pack

Dehydrated skin loses its glow and appears dull and tired irrespective of the quality of beauty products you apply on your skin. Use one of Shahnaz Hussain’s favorite natural moisturizer for dehydrated skin, cucumber juice! Since cucumber contains water and is cooling to the skin, it will help soothe your skin and add moisture to it.

All you need to do is grate half a cucumber and squeeze out the juice from it. Use a cotton ball to apply cucumber juice to the skin. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. If your skin is really dry, you can spray rose water mist on your face few times every day to add moisture to it and maintain its natural glow.

It is important to use these homemade masks and potions regularly to get results. Once you start using natural products on your skin on a regular basis, your skin condition will improve drastically. Even after a single use of these homemade face masks, you will see a visible improvement in your skin tone. Your skin will start glowing and you will not have to use makeup to cover any spots or blemishes on your beautiful face.
