1. For Dry Skin

Ingredients – Banana, Honey

Bananas are a rich source of potassium, vitamin A and E which work together to hydrate dry skin and moisturize it. They also have vitamin E which protects from free radicals and vitamin A which moisturizes and evens out skin tone. Adding honey to bananas helps retain moisture by hydrating your skin.

Method –

  1. Mash half a ripe banana banana with a fork
  2. Add a tablespoon of honey to this and mix
  3. Apply this mixture on your entire face, and let sit for 15 minutes

2. For Oily Skin 

Ingredients – Banana, Papaya, Cucumber

This refreshing mask combines the goodness of papaya and cucumber with bananas to nourish oily skin as papaya helps reduce pigmentation, cucumber hydrates and soothes dryness and banana softens rough skin.

Method –

  1. Blend 1/4th papaya, 1/4th cucumber and half a banana together to form a smooth paste.
  2. Apply this on your face and neck and let it sit for 15 minutes
  3. Rinse with lukewarm water

3. For Acne prone Skin

Ingredients – Banana, Neem, Turmeric

Banana reduces inflammation and irritation while neem and turmeric have antibacterial properties which are effective in curing acne. This face mask helps fighting pimples and reducing acne scars and blemishes.

Method –

  1. Mash half a banana with 1 tsp of neem paste or powder and 1 tsp of turmeric. Mix all the ingredients to prepare a smooth paste.
  2. Apply it all over the face and neck and then wait for 20 minutes.
  3. Rinse with water

4. For Ageing Skin

Ingredients – Banana, Yogurt

Yogurt helps in minimizing the appearance of wrinkles and lines and has antioxidant properties that fights off free radicals. It also contains lactic acid which evens out the skin tone and tightens pores for younger looking skin.

Method –

  1. Mash half a ripe banana with 2 tbsp fresh yogurt. 
  2. Apply an even layer of this mix all over the face and neck
  3. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water
  4. Repeat once a week

5. For Dull Skin 

Ingredients – Banana, Besan, Lemon

Besan and lemon are known for their skin brightening properties and add their magic to this banana face pack

Method –

  1. Mix half a ripe banana with 1 tbsp of besan and the juice of half a lemon 
  2. Apply this mixture on your entire face, and let sit for 15 minutes
  3. Rinse it off
