We are happy to announce that our new centre is open In Sarita Vihar, Pocket A now. The academy is led by Delhi based versatile musician - Ashish Chauhan, who is an active member of the popular band Delhi Indie Project along side Jasmine Kaur who is also an active part of the band. In past Ashish has Directed music for the award winning film ‘Jalpari – The Desert Mermaid’ and has collaborated with artists like Indian Ocean, Parikrama, Euphoria, Shilpa Rao, Harshdeep Kaur, Meiyang Chang, Shruti Pathak, Hari Sukhmani, Rabbi Shergill etc. Ashish plays a variety of instruments like – Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Bass, Vocals, Harmonica and is also a Music Producer. On the other hand Jasmine Kaur, who is trained in Hindustani Classical music since her child hood also expertise in Western Vocals and its theory and plays the Keyboards in addition. She has collaborated with various artists like Indian Ocean, Parikrama, Euphoria, Shilpa Rao, Meiyang Chang, Shruti Pathak etc. The Academy has been imparting training to various segments of the society. Besides, the faculty members also expertise to perform and play live in front of large audience since many years. She has done her Prabhakar in India Classical Music- Vocal, Instrumental (Harmonium, Tabla) and Dance (Kathak) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. She is also trained in Bhav Sangeet and teaches Dholak and KeyBoard. I'm currently learning Dholak from her. I feel so blessed to have a music teacher like her who takes an extra effort to make me understand nitty gritty of the subject with different examples.
