There’s something for EVERYONE at Delhi Shahpur Jat Fashion Street, no jokes. But that also means there’s wayyy too much to explore. We’ve been wedding clothes scouting there 50+ times, so you could call us the Shahpur Jat Wedding Shopping experts!
So we boiled it down to the absolute best 26 designer boutiques that you can visit, based on your budget, the kind of styles you like and your requirement (a bride looking for a funky cocktail outfit or a wedding guest who wants a pastel light cape lehenga under 30k!)

Pick a gorgeous Mehendi/Sangeet lehenga or anarkali here and don’t look at the price tag! In fact, their design aesthetic is somewhat similar to that of Abhinav Mishra’s. It’s a relatively new store, but it’s full of Benarsi silks that have been given an upgraded look! Whether you’re looking for a gorgeous benarsi silk wedding lehenga, reception sari, dupatta or anarkali – this is THE store to visit.
Recommended for: The Bride & Bridesmaid looking for a benarsi silk lehenga

“Simply beautiful” sums it up perfectly. The design aesthetic is ethnic, with a touch of contemporary.

“Delicately offbeat” sums them up aptly. Their speciality is their pastel colour palette – they’re always picking beautiful new pastel shades to create light wedding outfits. And they’re quick to incorporate latest trends into their collection.

Totally, completely and utterly different.
Her signature style is geometric patterns (stripes & chevrons) in a mish-mash of bright colours. In fact, all those striped lehengas you see the biggest designers using now? She’s the one who started the trend!

If your bridal style is BIG & royal, this store keeps grand lehengas with massive gheras and big motifs. Particularly good for velvet lehengas in deep shades. What makes them special is the huge, statement-making tassels on their lehengas.
Recommended for: The modern pre-draped dhoti sari for your friend’s Cocktail or Mehendi (Sonam Kapoor has worn them!), or a lehenga with unique motifs for the bride to wear to her Mehendi/Sangeet

It’s a part of the Gazal Gupta design house. While they also keep pre-draped dhoti pant saris, the designs are different. We love the peplum blouses paired with lehengas here – they’re the best ones we’ve seen in Shahpur Jat! Don’t judge them by the photos – it’s much better than it looks!

They specialise in capes and light lehengas. You’ll often spot their signature minimalist leaf & flower pattern on their outfits, which we love for bridesmaids!

You’ll find the biggest trend of the year here at the best rate. Back when floral prints were huge, you could find them by the dozens here at great prices. Now that belted outfits and fringes are in, there’s plenty to pick from. This one’s an absolute must-visit for wedding guests. They’re reasonably priced since they use cotton silks, without compromising on the style quotient. Fuss-free and young, they have a modern design aesthetic.
Recommended for: Belted light anarkalis (paired with dhoti pants) and pre-draped anarkalis for wedding guests!

They have 2 stores in Shahpur Jat. This one is in Jungi House lane, and keeps lehengas that even brides can wear to their Mehendi and Sangeet. Kalista is the place for elegant digital print Indian wear, that’s enhanced with a touch of embroidery. It’s a subdued vibe and you won’t find super loud colours here. They also keep a kids collection – the tiny lehengas are adorable!
Recommended for: Bridesmaids’ digital print floral lehengas!
Price range: Lehengas cost between 25-50k, kids collection is 10k onwards

Their name will be changed to Malhar soon. Located at the corner near Nitya Bajaj’s store, this branch of Kalista has super light wedding outfits under 22k – which is why it’s a great pick for wedding guests. While the outfits are simple, their elegance and sheen comes from the fabric used – cotton chanderi silk.
Recommended for: Cotton chanderi silk and block print anarkalis for wedding guests, and light lehengas for bridesmaids
Price range: Anarkalis cost 18-22k, while very light lehengas are in the 10k range

It’s a brand new store with a modern aesthetic – a truly hidden gem! It’s located near Daddy’s Princess by Priyanka Jain and Abhinav Mishra’s Leela store.
Recommended for: Sangeet and Cocktail lehengas for the sister of the bride/groom and bridesmaids
Price Range: Heavier lehengas for 50k+ and lighter lehengas starting at 24k
Address: 16, Near UCO bank, Shahpur Jat
This was a surprisingly good find. Tucked away in a corner, it’s full of outfits you can wear to a relative’s wedding and some really nice pieces for bridesmaids! Best thing is that it won’t burn a hole in your pocket.
Recommended for: The soft-hued suits and anarkalis for bridesmaids

Another favourite find, go here for an elegant and sophisticated take on Indian wedding clothes. We loved the light benarsi silk lehengas, light suits and draped jumpsuits.
